Since the half cells are smaller than a single full cell, it’s possible to use smaller busbars for conveying the captured electricity. PERC technology enables additional solar absorption as PERC cells include an additional reflective layer. This layer prevents excess light from passing through the solar cell and it’s possible to harvest the light as it reflects back through the cell. Coastal regions contain humidity and salt mist that can be corrosive to devices such as solar panels. These panels were tested for level 6 salt mist.
